- Janā Fawwāz al-Ḥasan (1985-, Lebanon) – Tābiqtisaʿ wa Tisīn (‘99th floor’, 2014). Majd, a Palestinian young man, was raised in the refugee camp of Sabrā wa Shatīla near Beirut. He manages to migrate to New York and takes office at the 99th level of a building. He meets Hilda, daughter of a Lebanese Maronite who fled Lebanon and now studies modern dance in New York. When Majd tells her about the massacre that took place in Sabrā wa Shatīla, Hilda is determined to find out the role her father played in the massacre and returns to Lebanon (reference).
