- Adham al-ʿAbūdī (1981-, Egypt) – Ḥāris al-ʿIshq al-ʾIlahi (‘The guardian of divine love’, 2017). This novel depicts the life of Jalāl al-Dīn al-Rūmī, from his birth in 1207 AD as he moved between different places and met different personalities who influenced him such as the blind Darwish Shāhīn, whom he met in Tabriz and his wife Kīrā (reference).
