- Bushrā Khalfān (1969-, Oman) – Al-Bāgh (‘The aggressor’, 2016). Tells the story of a brother and a sister, Rashīd and Rayya, who witness the Jebel Akhdar War in Oman and the 1970s Dhofar Rebellion / the Omani Civil War (reference) (see 1963 – 1976 Dhofar Rebellion in Oman).
