On Sunday July 27, the EWANA Center launched the CAL Encyclopedia in Atelier Kito in Brussels, Belgium!
Around 35 guests joined us in Brussels to explore the different themes and aspects of Contemporary Arab(ic) Literature!
The launch was moderated by chair of the EWANA Center board, Laura Bannan-Fischer, and executive director of the EWANA Center, Waleed Al-Aghbari. Kito provided a presentation on his atelier, Atelier Kito, as a space to bridge people.
Desiree Custers presented the CAL Encyclopedia, including through an interactive demonstration with the participants.
