What began in 2017 as a passion project by Desiree Custers, co-founder and director of the EWANA Center, to thematically map contemporary Arab(ic) literature has over the years grown into a rich archive.
We are proud to announce the official launch of this endeavor as a digital literary encyclopedia — offering in-depth overviews of Contemporary Arab(ic) Literature (CAL) across genres, countries, and themes.
